More and more players are waiting until high school to start playing tackle football. This is seriously flawed thinking and a mistake many families are now making. There are three reasons families use to rationalize this decision. 1) My child will receive better coaching (they ABSOLUTELY will not) 2) It will be safer (100% false) and 3) My child will have a better experience (also false). If your child is in Middle School and wants to play tackle football in high school, you are making a mistake waiting.
